2. Remove air filter element from air filter body.
3. Blow compressed air not exceeding 30 psi (205 kPa,
2.1 kgf/cm2) through the filter element from the inside
out.

the fibers. Replace the paper filter element if it is
excessively dirty.
ChangIng engIne oIL
1. Change the engine oil after the first 50 hours of use,
then change oil every 6 months or 200 hours.
2. Drain the engine oil when the oil is warm.
3. Remove the oil drain bolt and sealing washer
(Figure 52) and allow the oil to drain into a suitable
container.

4. Reinstall drain bolt with sealing washer and tighten
securely.
5. Remove the oil filler cap and fill engine crankcase with
recommended type oil as listed in Table 6. Fill to the
upper limit of dipstick.
6. Crankcase oil capacity with oil filter replacement is
3.60 qts. (3.40 liters) .

1. Be sure to coat the seal of the new oil filter with clean
engine oil.

Check the engine in-line fuel filter (Figure 54) every 100
hours. Replace if necessary. Refer to your engine manual
for specific details to perform this operation.
