The definitions below describe the controls and functions

of the Control Box (Figure 12).
1.

Light Switch — Two position rocker switch, activates

halogen lights. Lighting to be used at night or in dark

areas.Lights green when the lights are on and does

not light when the lights are off.

2.

throttle switch — Two position rocker switch, controls

the speed of the engine. Lights green when in full

throttle and does not light when the engine is in idle.

3.

Choke Button — Used in the starting of a cold engine,

or in cold weather conditions. The choke enriches the

fuel mixture. Hold choke button down while cranking

engine. Choke not required with propane use.

4.

emergency stop Button — In the event of an

emergency, press this button.

do not use this button

as a regular method of shutting down the unit. Pull

button outward when restarting.

5.

hour meter — This digital hour meter indicates the

number of hours machine has been in use.

6.

Engine Status Gauge — Multi Cluster gauge,

indicates the following:
a.

Low Oil Pressure LED — When ON

indicates that the oil pressure has

dropped to 11.4 psi (78.6 kPa). This

condition will cause the engine to shutdown. During

normal operation of the pump this LED should

remain

OFF.

b.

Overheat LED — This LED goes on

when the cooling water temperature

rises above 225°F, ± 5°F (107°C, ± 5°C).

If this LED comes

on during normal

operation of the pump, the emergency

shutdown device will stop the engine

automatically.

c.

Auxiliary LEDs — These status LEDs

can be used for additional engine

operating parameters. When

on

(AUX 2) indicates that there is

approximately 20 minutes left of run

time before the unit will require refueling.

d.

Glow Plug Pre-Heat LED — This LED

goes

on when the preheat system is in

process. When LED extinguishes, the

preheat period is complete and the

engine may be cranked.

e.

Battery Charge Led — When on

indicates that the charging system is

not working properly. This condition will

cause the engine to shutdown

7.

Ignition Switch — Starts the engine. If engine is cold,

hold the choke button down while cranking the engine.

8.

Fuel Switch — When using propane for fuel, the red

light is on. When gasoline is used, the light is off.
