procedure for filling propane tank (In-place)
1. Remove all combustible materials including dry grass
and leaves within 25 ft. (7.62 meters) of LPG dispenser.
2. open required valves on dispenser/storage tank.

3. Disconnect LP Gas line nozzle (Figure 35) from power
unit propane tank fill port.
4. Remove dispenser/storage gas line nozzle from its
holder.
5. Connect dispenser/storage gas line nozzle to propane
tank fill port.
6. start dispenser/storage tank pump.
7. open slightly liquid bleed-off valve.
8. open shutoff valve on power unit propane tank.
9. open the dispenser/storage tank fill hose valve.
10. CLOSE liquid bleed-off valve as soon as white fog
begins to escape.
11. CLOSE shut-off valve on propane tank.

12. stop dispenser/storage tank pump.
13. Disconnect LP Gas dispenser/storage gas line nozzle
from propane tank fill port.
14. Reconnect LP Gas line nozzle to propane tank fill port.
15. Inspect propane tank valves for leaks.
procedure for removing propane tank
1. Place power unit on secure level ground where it will
not slip or slide.
2. CLOSE shutoff valve on propane tank.

3. Remove the gas nozzle/hose snap pin from its holder.
4. Disconnect LP Gas line nozzle from propane tank fill
port.
5. Secure LP gas nozzle/hose to frame using snap pin.
6. Release propane tank strap latches.
7. To remove propane tank, push backward and lift
upward and.
8. Align the propane tank locking slot with the locking pin
on the tank support cradle and place new propane tank
into the support cradle.
9. Secure propane tank using straps with locking latches.
Also remove snap pin from LP Gas line nozzle/hose
and place back into its holder.
10. Reconnect LP Gas line nozzle to propane tank fill port.
11.
open shutoff valve on propane tank.
