8. Enter the word "Count" in the lower half of the divided "PLC_PRG (PRG−ST)"
programming window.
9. Press [Enter]
The "Declare Variable" dialogue will be opened.
10. Use [...] to the select the variable type "INT".
11. Click OK to close the dialogue.
After this, we will enter the code for a simple counter in our example program.
