Replacing the active carbon filter
• The life of the active carbon filter will depend
on the reagent types used and the frequency
of vacuum cycles.
• The filter (13) should be replaced at least every
3 months ( Fig. 84 ).
After replacing the filter, open the SMART
MONITOR menu to reset the filter age to "0".
For additional information, refer to Chap. 5.5
• We recommend a smart clean prior to chang-
ing the filter.

• Remove, empty, and reinsert the blue conden-
sate container ( Fig. 83 ).

Dispose of waste solvents with care
according to local regulations and the
waste management policy of the com-
pany or institution.
When inserting the new filter, make
sure that it is inserted with the correct
side up, as specified on the label on
the front side of the filter. The arrow
must point upwards.
