3. Set the Battery switch to OFF and lock the
Battery switch.
DO NOT run a strap over the platform toe
board (3). The toe board is not strong enough
to hold the platform down and will be damaged
in transit. Run a strap where shown.
4. Run a nylon strap (4) over the platform
support (5) to hold the platform on the blocks
(1) as shown.
5. Attach chains to the front (6) tie down lugs.
Chocks may be removed at this time, though
it is a good idea to leave them in place.
6. Attach chains to the rear (7) tie down lugs.
Chocks may be removed at this time, though
it is a good idea to leave them in place.
Transporting a loose AB46J can cause Death
or Serious Injury.
DO NOT attach tie down chains to the steering
tie rods. The tie rods are not strong enough to
safely hold an AB46J.
7. Lock the cowling doors closed.
8. Use wire-ties, as shown, to keep the platform
gravity gate from bouncing around.
9. Use wire-ties, as shown, to keep platform
foot switch from bouncing around.
Reverse the above procedure after transporting.
