■ Platform gravity gate
Inspect the platform gravity gate to be sure it is
present, that it moves freely, and is not damaged
in any way.
■ Platform swinging gate
Inspect the optional platform swinging gate, at
the platform entrance, to see that it swings freely,
closes firmly, and is not deformed in any way.
■ Flashing lights
Visually check to see that the optional flashing
lights flash at approximately one flash per second
when the Battery switch, Master Key Switch,
and the Emergency Stop switch (at the ground)
are all ON.
■ Battery charger
Turn the Master Key Switch on the ground
control box to OFF and the Battery switch ON.
Plug (1) the charger into a source of power.
Visually inspect the ammeter (2) to see that
approximately 20 A of charging current is
produced.
