Paper Type, Paper Weight, Paper Color, and Prepunched Paper determine
requirements on the paper on which the job is printed. When using one of them
make sure that the job explicitly selects a tray and that the tray contains the
specified paper. If the tray on which the job is printed does not contain the
selected paper, the bizhub PRO 1050 will prompt you for inserting this paper.
The following paper types are supported:
• No setting, Plain, Coated A, Coated B, Fine, Book/News,
Embossed, User, Blank Insert, Transparency.
The following paper weights are supported:
• No setting, 50-61 g/m2, 62-71 g/m2, 72-91 g/m2, 92-130 g/m2,
131-161 g/m2, 162-209 g/m2, 210-244 g/m2, 245-300 g/m2.
The following paper colors are supported:
• No setting, White, Clear, Yellow, Pink, Blue, Green.
Prepunched paper can be on or off.
When selecting special paper, please observe the following constraints:
• Paper type Transparency and paper weight 245-300 g/m2 do not
work with duplex.
• Paper type Transparency and paper weight 245-300 g/m2 work
only with tray 4. Note that tray 4 is only available if the Large
capacity trays unit PF-701 is installed.
Tray … Config allows you to specify which paper type, weight and color you
expect in each tray when you select trays per page.
To specify the expected content for a tray, select the respective setting in the line
for the tray. If the tray is used in a tray selection per page, this information is used
as a requirement on the tray. If the tray is not used, this information has no effect.
Note: The tray settings specified under Tray … Config are effective only for
tray selection per page, not on the tray selected for the job. To specify
requirements on the job tray, select Paper Type, Paper Weight, Paper Color,
and Prepunched Paper.
