6.6.2.6 System In-Remote Contact Output Requirements
Polyfeeder B Series controllers provide an additional dry contact output that is closed when the system is
placed in the REMOTE position on the mode selection switch. This contact output is rated for 5 amps at
250 VAC or 30 VDC. The contact is a normally open contact.

6.6.2.7 Generic Alarm Contact Output Requirements
Polyfeeder B-Series provides a generic alarm dry contact output that is closed for low polymer flow, low
water flow, and concentration limits exceeded. This contact output is rated for 5 Amps at 250 VAC or
30VDC. The contact is a normally open contact, with any alarm providing contact closure.

6.6.3 Analog Output Requirements
Polyfeeder B series controllers allow the system to report the polymer flow rate to a remote location. An
analog output current loop is provided that uses a 4-20mA signal. The effective input impedance
presented by the remotely located PLC or SCADA system to this current source must not exceed 500
ohms.
