8. Slide canopy (D) over threaded studs (C) and push firmly to ceiling, making sure that no wires are pinched between
fixture canopy and ceiling. Fasten with barrel knobs (E). Be sure studs are fully seated in the barrel knobs.
9. Once the fixture is fastened to the ceiling, tighten the set screw (I) in clutch (H) firmly with hex wrench provided.
Only after the set screw (I) is tight should you install the lower assembly.
10. Refer instructions below and install glass/shade for option that was purchased.
To Install Glass with G9 Option

1. Remove retaining ring (R) and spacer (Q) from socket (N). Retaining Rings and
spacers are shipped installed.
2. Install light bulb (O). Be careful not to touch bulb with bare hands; oil from the
hands will dramatically reduce bulb life.
3. Slip glass (P) over socket (N).
4. Slip spacer (Q) over socket (N) so it rests on glass (P).
5. Thread retaining ring (R) onto socket (N) using provided socket tool (S). Be careful
not to over tighten.
6. Restore electricity at main breaker.
To Install Glass with GU24 Option (Figure 4)

1. Remove retaining ring (R) from socket (N). Retaining Rings are shipped installed.
2. Slip glass (P) over socket (N).
3. Slip washer (T) onto socket (N) so it rests on the bottom of glass (P).
4. Thread retaining ring (R) onto socket (N) using provided socket tool (S) provided
until it rests on the washer (T). Do not over tighten.
5. Install light bulb (O).
6. Restore electricity at main breaker.
