SHOW MC
To display the status of just one port, use the CHANNEL variable. For
example, the following command displays the status of the ports in
channel 4:
SHOW MC CHANNEL=4
The TP Link and FO Link columns indicate whether the twisted pair and
fiber optic ports have a valid connection to the end nodes connected to the
ports. The ON status indicates the presence of a valid link while OFF
indicates the absence of a link. The TP Act and FO Act columns indicate if
there is any activity on the ports. The Test column indicates whether the
channels are performing a link test, indicated by “Enable,” or are in the
normal operating mode, indicated by “Disable.”
SET MC MODE Command
This command allows you to override the Link Test switch on the front panel
of the media converter and either start or stop a link test on the channels of
the unit.
Note
A link test on an AT-MCF06 or AT-MCF12 media converter should be
performed with caution. The media converter will not pass network
traffic when performing a link test.
