Management LEDs
Table 1 lists the LEDs located in the Management section on the front panel of
the media converter.

For information on the other LEDs on the media converter, refer to the
media converter’s installation guide.
LED Status Definition
LNK ON A link has been established between the management
module and the hub, switch, or management station to
which it is connected.
OFF No link has been established.
REC ON The module is receiving data.
Ready ON The management module has been installed and configured.
Flashing The management module has been installed but has not
been configured.
OFF Either the management module has not been installed or it
has been installed incorrectly.
