Powered Device

Classes

Powered devices are grouped into the five classes listed in Table 1 on
page 24. The
classes are based on the amount of power the devices
require. The switches support all five classes.

Cable

Requirements

The cable requirements for ports operating at 10 or 100Mbps are given in
Table 2.
