Assign a Picture ID to Unsaved Numbers

Changing the Backlight Control
Select how long the display screen and keypad remain backlit after you press any key.
1. Press
> Settings > Display > Backlight Control.
2. Select Backlight Dim, Backlight Off, or Java Backlight.

Note:
Long backlight settings reduce the battery’s talk and standby times.
Adjusting the Brightness
Adjust your screen’s contrast (brightness) to suit your surroundings.
1. Press
> Settings > Display > Brightness.
2. Press your navigation key left or right to adjust the screen contrast and press

Applying PowerSave Mode
PowerSave Mode preserves the battery charge life
and automatically turns off the screen after a
certain period of time when you leave it idle. Activating this feature applies the following
settings:
● Backlight Dim is set to Always Dim.
● Backlight Off is set to 15 seconds.
● Keypad light is set to Off.
