The Camcorder : Basic Recording
✤ The EASY.Q mode works only in REC mode.
✤ The EASY.Q mode allows a beginner to easily make good recordings.
1. Set the Power switch to REC.
2. By pressing the EASY.Q button, all functions on the
Camcorder will be set to off and the recording settings
will be set to the following basic modes:
■ Battery level, recording mode, counter, date/time,
and DIS (
) will be displayed.
■ The word EASY.Q will appear on the LCD screen at
the same time. However, the Date/Time will only be
seen if it has been previously set. (see page 35)
3. Press the Start/Stop button to start recording.
Recording will begin using the basic automatic
settings.
4. Press the EASY.Q button again in the STBY mode
and then turn the EASY.Q mode off.
■ The EASY.Q function will not turn off while you are
recording.
■ The camcorder will return to the settings that were
set prior to activating EASY.Q mode.
[ Notes ]
■ In EASY.Q mode, certain functions are not available,
such as Menu, BLC, Manual focus. If you want to use
these functions, you must first turn the EASY.Q mode off.
■ The EASY.Q mode settings are released when the
Battery pack is removed from the Camcorder and must
be reset when the Battery pack is replaced.
■ EASY.Q mode will not turn off during a recording.
■ Photo image recording using the PHOTO button while EASY.Q is set
releases DIS function.
■ Digital Zoom, Color Nite or Digital Effect is not available in the EASY.Q
mode.
Using EASY.Q Mode (for Beginners)

✤ La modalidad EASY.Q sólo está operativa en la modalidad REC.
✤ La modalidad EASY.Q permite a los principiantes obtener buenas
grabaciones con facilidad.
1. Coloque el interruptor Power en REC.
2. Pulse el botón EASY.Q para que se desactiven todas
las funciones de la videocámara. Los ajustes de
grabación se acomodarán a las siguientes
modalidades básicas:
■ Aparecerá el nivel de la batería, la modalidad de
grabación, el contador, la fecha y hora y DIS (
).
■ Al mismo tiempo aparecerá en la pantalla la
palabra EASY.Q. No obstante, la función de fecha
y hora sólo se verá si se ha ajustado previamente.

3. Pulse el botón Iniciar/Parar para comenzar la
grabación. La grabación empieza con los ajustes
automáticos básicos.
4. Pulse de nuevo el botón EASY.Q en la modalidad
STBY y se desactivará la modalidad EASY.Q.
■ La función EASY.Q se desactivará cuando esté
grabando.
■ La videocámara volverá a los ajustes hechos antes
de activar la modalidad EASY.Q.
[Notas]
■ En la modalidad EASY.Q, algunas funciones no están
disponibles, como Menú, BLC y enfoque manual.
Si desea usar estas funciones primero deberá
desactivar la modalidad EASY.Q.
■ Los ajustes de la modalidad EASY.Q se liberarán
cuando se quite la batería de la videocámara y
deberán ajustarse de nuevo al volver a colocarla.
■ La modalidad EASY.Q no se desactivará durante la grabación.
■ La grabación de imágenes fotográficas utilizando el botón PHOTO con
EASY.Q definido, libera la función DIS.
■ Digital Zoom (Zoom digital), Color Nite (Color nocturno) o Digital Effect
(Efecto digital) no están disponibles en la modalidad EASY.Q.
