2.22 STATUS
NOTE
The STATUS menu item is displayed as STS
when the LWTS is placed in CLIP ON mode.
Activating the STATUS menu option calls up the Status
Screen which displays the following:
a. Current software version;
b. Current firmware version;
c. Battery voltage;
d. Shot counter information;
e. AZ and EL adjustment values.
Items a. through c. above are used by maintenance
personnel for diagnostic purposes. Note that the battery
voltage value is not an accurate predictor of remaining
battery life.
The LWTS has a built-in shock sensor that is used to detect
when a round of ammunition has been fired from the host
weapon. The shot counter information represents the total
number of rounds fired, regardless of weapon type.
