Continuous Access Journal
Continuous Access Journal (Cnt Ac-J) volumes can be shared with Business Copy volumes.

BC primary volumes can be shared with Cnt Ac-J P-VOLs and S-VOLs.
•
BC secondary volumes cannot be shared with Cnt Ac-J S-VOLs.
•
BC pair volumes may not share Cnt Ac-J journal volumes.
•

Sharing volumes in a 3-Cnt Ac-J DC multi-target configuration
Business Copy volumes can be shared with Continuous Access Journal volumes in 3 DC multi-target
configurations. The BC primary and secondary volumes can be shared with Cnt Ac-J volumes, as
shown in the following figure.
