3 Sharing Business Copy volumes
Business Copy volumes can be shared with other HP software product volumes. This chapter
discusses requirements, recommendations, and restrictions for sharing volumes.
Cache Residency
Volumes with Cache Residency settings can be used as Business Copy primary volumes and
secondary volumes.
NOTE:
See the bullet on Quick Restore in
for important information about the operation
and volumes with Cache Residency settings.
Snapshot
Snapshot and Business Copy can share volumes. When pairs are shared, they can be assigned
to consistency groups, though not the same consistency group.
