The Value field provides either a drop-down list of values, or prompts you to enter data (names
or numbers). When entering data, a valid entry displays a blue border, an invalid entry (format,
spacing) displays a red border.
•
Saved compound searches are re-displayed in total (all set categories, attributes and values) when
you run your saved search. You can review, modify, and run new search variations, and save
them.
•
Use Column Settings to correlate displayed search results with your search. This helps validate
that your search is returning the expected results.

For a Volume search, using Attribute, you can specify Storage System
Vendor, or Storage System Model (useful if you have multiple storage
systems of the same type). The Value drop down provides available
vendors or models. You can invert the search results using the is/is not
operator. The +/- buttons allow the addition or removal of additional
search conditions. When switching to other supported search types,
investigate the Attribute and Value fields to see what is available.
