Description
Item
VDEV number for the VLL volume to be initialized.
•
A VDEV number starting with E (for example, E1-1-(1))
indicates that the VDEV belongs to a parity group
consisting of one or more external LUs.
•
A VDEV number starting with V (for example, V1-1-(1))
indicates that the VDEV belongs to a parity group
consisting of one or more XP Snapshot virtual volumes
(V-VOLs).
•
A VDEV number starting with X (for example, X1-1-(1))
indicates that the VDEV belongs to a parity group
consisting of one or more XP Thin Provisioning virtual
volumes (V-VOLs).
VDEV
Emulation type of the VLL volume to be initialized.
Emulation
Capacity of the VLL volume to be initialized, either in
megabytes (MB) for open-systems volumes or in cylinders
(Cyl) for mainframe volumes.
Capacity
The LDKC number, the CU number, and the LDEV number
of the VLL volume to be initialized.
LDKC:CU:LDEV
Shows System Disk if the VLL volume is configured as a
system disk.
Option
Returns to the previous dialog box.
Back
Registers the Volume Initialize settings, and returns to the
Customized Volume window.
OK
Cancels the Volume Initialize settings, and returns to the
Customized Volume window.
