Loop Status Messages
The Express L768 displays current loop status of the HDSL on the bot-
tom center line of the terminal screen. The following messages are de-
fined:
Connected
This is seen when the Express L768 HDSL layer 1 is up. The rate is de-
termined by what it is configured for under
Configuration/WAN/
HDSL/Rate .
Echo: Tx: X Rx: Y
The current transmit and receive count for the PPP echo request test.
Layer 1 up
The Express L768’s HDSL layer 1 is up.
Link down
The HDSL link is not synchronized.
Link In Sync
The HDSL link is synchronized but layer 1 is not up.
NET EOC LOOPBACK
Express L768 has received an HDSL EOC loopback command from
the far end.
RINGING
An incoming call is ringing.
