In order to avoid the long paper jam, select Long Paper for Scan Size or Document Size.
See one of the following:
When you scan from your PC
• Change Scan Settings (ControlCenter4) (Windows
• Change Scan Settings (ControlCenter2) (Macintosh) on page 86
When you scan from the machine (ADS-1500W only)
In order to select Long Paper (up to 34in) for Document Size on the Control Panel, confirm the
following settings:
(Scan to USB/FTP/Network/E-mail Server)
• 2-sided Scan: Off
• Scan Type: Color or Black and White
• Auto Deskew: Off
• Skip Blank Page: Off
(Scan to PC)
• 2-sided Scan: Off
• Auto Deskew: Off
