Caller ID operation
Memory match
If the incoming telephone number matches the last seven digits of a
telephone number in your directory, the name that appears on the screen
matches the corresponding name in your directory.
For example, if Christine Smith calls, her name appears as
Chris if this is how
you entered it into your directory.
NOTE: The number you see on your caller ID is in the format from the telephone service
provider. It usually delivers 10-digit telephone numbers (area code plus telephone
number). If the last seven digits of the incoming telephone number do not match a number
in your directory, the name appears as it is delivered by the telephone service provider.
Review the call log
Review the caller ID history to find out who called, to easily return a call, or
to copy the caller’s name and number into your directory.
Call log empty
appears if there are no records in the call log.
Using a cordless handset:
Press
/CID
on the handset while in idle mode.
-OR-
Press the
MENU softkey to enter the main menu,
then press
or
to scroll to
CALL LOG and then
press the
SELECT softkey.
If there is only one call log, press the
SELECT softkey
again to choose
Review.
-OR-
If there is more than one call log, press
or
to
highlight the desired call log, then press the
SELECT softkey. Press the SELECT softkey again to
choose
Review.
Press
or
to scroll through the list. Press and hold
OFF/
CLEAR
to exit the caller ID history.
