8.11.3 Drive Pipe Connection for Lock Motor
NOTE: Two drive pipes may be attached to motor as shown in Fig. 24 and Fig. 28.
1. Fit end of drive shaft into sprocket (a). IMPORTANT! Make sure that end of drive shaft
is flush with end of sprocket. Tighten the Set Screw (b).
2. Measure 1.0" (2.54 cm) from one end of drive pipe. Mark pipe. Measure 2.5" (6.35 cm)
from end of pipe in line with first mark. Mark pipe. Drill 3/8" (0.95 cm) hole in pipe at
each mark.
3. Slide drive insert assembly into end of drive pipe. Align two holes of drive insert with
holes in drive pipe. Fit drive insert flush with end of drive pipe.
