4’ Ridge Vent Assembly
1. Ridge vent kit (6450-5096) consists of parts as shown
in Fig. 1. Before starting assembly, inspect kit for
missing or damaged parts.
2. Attach Ridge Vent End Cap (0404-5222) to Ridge
Vent Bottom End (0404-5221) with 8-15 x 1/2 screws
(1004-1130) through predrilled holes as shown in Fig.
2.
3. Repeat step 2 for second end cap.
4. Attach End Cap/ Bottom End assemblies to Ridge
Vent Side Panels (0404-5223) with 8-15 x 1/2 screws
(1004-1130) as shown in Fig. 3. Assembly is shown
in Fig. 4.
5. Refer to Fig. 5. Attach Vent Cover (0404-5219) to
assembly from step 4 with 8-15 x 1/2 screws (1004-
1130).
6. Hold wire screen (0404-5220) inside assembly. Fit
wire screen (0404-5220) into groove at top of side
panel (0404-5223).
7. Secure screen into place by using wirepliers to crimp
tabs onto top of wire screen as shown in Fig. 6.
8. Repeat step 6-7 for second wire screen.
9. Assembly
complete.
