The measurement is making 100 averages, which requires
approximately three minutes to stabilize the noise level. After
completion, stop the measurement and note the levels.
Passing the test
You have passed the test if the average noise level is below –122
dBm. If your system is equipped with a navigator, perform the
tests in
“Test 4 - GPS receiver testing"
on page 116. If you
experience problems in setting up the test, refer to
“Troubleshooting your E6474A system"
Test 4 - GPS receiver testing
If you have an Agilent digital receiver, make sure that you have
tested the receiver using either method 1 (
), method 2
), or method 3 (
) described earlier in this
chapter. It is recommended that you know the GPS position, the
longitude and latitude, of where you do the test.
