SYSTem:COMMunicate:SERial[ n] :CONTrol:DTR? returns the current setting
for DTR line control.

:RTS
SYSTem:COMMunicate:SERial[ n] :CONTrol:RTS < Rts_cntrl> controls the
behavior of the Request To Send output line. RTS can be set to a static state
(ON | OFF), can operate as a modem control line (STANDard), or can be used
as a hardware handshake line (IBFull).

The following table defines each value of rts_cntrl:

ON
RTS line is asserted
OFF
RTS Line is unasserted
STANdard
RTS will be asserted when the serial interface is
ready to send output data. Data will be sent if the
connected device asserts CTS and DSR.
IBFull
While the input buffer is not yet at the :STOP
threshold, RTS is asserted. When the input buffer
reaches the :STOP threshold, RTS will be
unasserted.
