Observe the national standards for refuse disposal!
9 STORAGE
Incorrect storage will damage the I/O Box Type 8642 with
PROFIBUS PA circuit.
Store the device dry and free of dust.
Storage temperature: -25 ... +60 °C
Close the electrical and pneumatic connections of the
coil using protective caps in order to protect against
mechanical damage.
Pack the I/O box model 8642 with PROFIBUS PA
activation carefully in the original packaging or in a
corresponding form of packaging.
Secure the device against dampness and dirt and
transport it only in the original packaging or a
corresponding form of protective packaging.
