MODE _BLK This parameter contains the current mode and the
permitted and normal mode of the block
ST_REV A block has static block parameters, that are not
changed by the process. Values are assigned to this
parameter during the configuration or optimisation. The
value of theparameter ST_REV must increase by 1
after every change of a static block parameter. This
provides a check of the parameter revision.
STRATEGY Grouping of Funtion Block. The STRATEGY field can be
used to group blocks.
TAG_DESC Every block can be assigned a textual TAG description.
The TAG_DESC is the address of the block. The
TAG_DESC must be unambiguous and unique in the
fieldbus system.
TARGET_MODE The TARGET_MODE parameter contains desired mode
normally set by a control application or an operator.
ALARM_SUM This parameter contains the current status of the Block
Alarms. The parameter ALARM_SUM is not supported
at the moment.
ALERT_KEY This parameter contains the identification number of the
plant unit. It helps to identify the location (plant unit) of
an event (crossing a limit).

These parameters are contained in the physical block, the functional block and
the transducer block.
