Setting Required Fax Settings
Setting Date and Time
To ensure all outgoing fax display current date and time at the fax header at the top
of fax, please first setup current date and time on the MFP.
To set current date and time,
1. Press the Menu button on the control panel. The LCD-display shows the
following Menu screen.

Press WX, Num
2. Press the Set button, the Left-arrow or the Right-arrow button. The
LCD-display shows “1. Common Setup”.

3. Press the Left-arrow or the Right-arrow button repeatedly until “7. FAX
Setup” appears on the display.

Press WX, Set
4. Press the Set button and then press the Right-arrow button until “71.
Date/Time” appears on the LCD-display.

Press Num, Set
5. Press the Set button. The LCD-display shows default date and time.

Press Num, Set
6. Enter current date and time with the numeric keypad and then press the Set
button. The LCD-display shows “Setting OK”. This means you have
successfully set date and time on the machine.
