2. INSTALLATION
After the Cent OS (Linux distribution based on Rad Hat Enterprise) is launched, you are
prompted to enter username and password. It ’s set to root (username) and rootroot (password)
by default. At this moment it is necessary to make network configuration settings that can be
invoked by the following command:
system-config-network
If you enter the command correctly, you will see the following window with the network
configuration.

The first step in configuration is to set the name and IP addresses of the device on which
the monitoring system will be located. By clicking on the Device configuration item and then
eth0 item is displayed the corresponding form. To save your changes, you must click on the
OK button and Save button in the one level up window.
