Field Operation
Probe Platform
- Start engine and allow it to warm a minute or two before cycling – a few minutes
if during cold weather.
- Extend to full rear position
- Fold into upright position (figure 5)
- Lower foot to soil
- Raise probe (figure 6)
- Install Probe or core sampling

Important! --
When folding and retracting the platform make sure that
probe mast clears engine muffler. This can be achieved by shifting left to right as
you fold the unit.
