13 Other Useful Features
13.1 Appointment Reminder
The appointment reminder service enables you to ask the system to
automatically remind you at a specified time that you define within 24 hours of
your appointment. To activate an appointment reminder, from an idle extension
The phone can be set to remind you at any time within the next 24 hours
(multiple settings are allowed).
13.1.1 Activate Reminder Service
To activate the reminder service, do the following:
H.323 Phones
1. Dial the prefix 71 assigned to the appointment reminder service.
Note: Austria: *32, Italy: *32#, Norway: #71, North America: *32,
Denmark, Sweden: *71
2. Enter the hour (00-23) and minutes (00-59) for your appointment reminder.
If you receive busy tone, your extension does not have the authority to
set a Reminder.
At the set time for your reminder, your extension will automatically ring.
3. Answer this call in the usual manner.
A confirmation voice message is then heard. The default message is: It’s
time for your appointment.
SIP Phones
1. Dial the prefix 71 assigned to the appointment reminder service.
Note: Austria: *32, Italy: *32#, Norway: #71, North America: *32,
Denmark, Sweden: *71
2. Enter the hour (00-23) and minutes (00-59) for your appointment reminder
and tap the Call button.
If you receive busy tone, your extension does not have the authority to
set a Reminder.
At the set time for your reminder, your extension will automatically ring.
3. Answer this call in the usual manner.
