Care of Your WorkCentre
3 Avoid removing the ink jet cartridges from the WorkCentre unless they
are to be replaced.Do not place heavy objects on any surface of the
WorkCentre.Take care not to place liquids on or near the WorkCentre
surface.Avoid placing clips or staples on any WorkCentre surface.
Maintenance
3 Clean the Document Glass daily and as required.
3 Do not apply cleaning liquids or sprays directly to the WorkCentre; apply
to the cloth first.
3 Store paper in a dry area, on a flat surface and in a closed cabinet.
3 Wrap partially used reams of media tightly.
WorkCentre Location
For reliable WorkCentre operation and copy quality, Xerox recommends:
3 Place your WorkCentre in a well-ventilated room, positioning it so that
you do not block any ventilation slots or openings, as described in the
safety notes.
3 Recommended environment:
Temperature: 60
o
to 90
o
F (15
o
to 32
o
C.
Humidity: 40% to 70%.
3 Place the WorkCentre on a flat, level surface.
3 Avoid locations that subject the WorkCentre to:
Direct Sunlight.
Extreme changes in temperature or humidity.
