Control Data Terminal Ready (DTR) Signal. Interprets the ON to

OFF transition of the DTR signal from the DTE as specified by

the &Qn setting.

&Q2,3: Modem hangs up; auto answer inhibited

&Q0,1,4-6: Asynchronous escape sequence.

Direct Asynchronous Mode. All Error Correction and

Compression protocols are disabled. This requires that the

software’s baud rate matches modem baud rate.

Modem negotiates an error correction link.

Selects asynchronous operation in normal mode.

(Speed buffering allows software baud rate to be fixed).
