Message alert tone

By default, the

Msg Alert Tone s off. When the message alert tone and

the answerng system s on, the telephone base wll beep every 10 seconds

when you have a new message on the answerng system.
To change the settng:
1. Press the

MENU softkey on the telephone base to enter the man menu.

2. Press the

UP and DOWN NavKeys to hghlght Answering System, then

press the

SELECT softkey to enter the Answering System menu.

3. Press the

UP and DOWN NavKeys to hghlght Msg Alert Tone, then

press the

SELECT softkey.

4. Press the

UP and DOWN NavKeys to hghlght On or Off, then press the

SET softkey to save the settng.

System setup

If the message

alert tone s on,

but the answerng

system s off, the

telephone base

wll not beep when

there are new

messages.
