Call screening

By default,

Call Screening s on. Call screenng allows you to lsten to a

caller leavng a message on the answerng system.
To change ths settng:
1. Press the

MENU softkey on the telephone base to enter the man menu.

2. Press the

UP and DOWN NavKeys to hghlght Answering System, then

press the

SELECT softkey to enter the Answering System menu.

3. Press the

DOWN NavKey to hghlght Call Screening, then press the

SELECT softkey.

4. Press the

UP and DOWN NavKeys to hghlght On or Off, then press the

SET softkey to save the settng.

Remote code

By default, the

Remote Code s 5000. To access your answerng system

remotely from any touch tone phone (page 97), you need to enter the four-

dgt remote access code.
To change the remote access code:
1. Press the

MENU softkey on the telephone base to enter the man menu.

2. Press the

UP and DOWN NavKeys to hghlght Answering System, then

press the

SELECT softkey to enter the Answering System menu.

3. Press the

UP and DOWN NavKeys to hghlght Remote Code, then press

the

SELECT softkey.

4. Enter your desred four-dgt code by usng the:

Dal pad keys (

0-9) to enter a code.

LEFT and RIGHT NavKeys to move the cursor left and rght.
UP and DOWN NavKeys to ncrease and decrease the dgt.

5. Press the

SET softkey to save your settng.
