If you replace

a handset, the

new handset wll

be assgned the

next avalable

regstraton

number, rather

than the handset

number of the

handset that you

are replacng.

Deleting handsets

For your handset(s) to be numbered sequentally, you need to delete all

the handset regstratons from the telephone base. After you delete all the

handset regstratons, you wll need to ndvdually regster each handset

wth the telephone base (see page 7).
To delete the regstraton on all handsets:
1. Press the

MENU softkey on the telephone base when n dle mode to

enter the man menu.

2. Press the

UP and DOWN NavKeys to select Settings, then press the

SELECT softkey to enter the Settings menu.

3. Press the

UP and DOWN NavKeys to hghlght Delete Handsets, then

press the

SELECT softkey. The screen wll show Delete Registration

of all handsets?

4. Press the

YES softkey. The telephone base screen wll dsplay

[ Registration of all handsets deleted ] and the handset screen wll

dsplay

Place in Charger.

After deletng the regstratons of all handsets, see page 7 for handset

regstraton nstructons.
