Telephone base settings

In the telephone base

Settings menu, you can set the date, tme, keypad

tone, language, LCD (dsplay) contrast and voce mal codes. You can

also clear the voce mal ndcaton, restore the default settngs, and delete

handset regstratons.
To enter the

Settings menu:

1. Press the

MENU softkey when n dle mode to enter the man menu.

2. Press the

UP and DOWN NavKeys to select Settings, then press the

SELECT softkey to enter the Settings menu. You can then select:

Set Date - Manually set the date (f you do not subscrbe to caller ID,

page 42).

Set Time - Manually set the tme (f you do not subscrbe to caller

ID, page 42).

Keypad Tone - Turn the keypad tone on or off (page 43.)
Language - Change the telephone base language to Englsh,

Spansh, or French (page 43).

LCD Contrast - Adjust the LCD dsplay screen contrast (page 44).
Clear Voice Mail - Clear the voce mal ndcaton (page 45).
Voice Mail Codes - Program the voce mal codes (page 45).
Default Settings - Restore the telephone base settngs back to

default (page 47).

Delete Handsets - Delete the regstraton of all handsets (page 48).

After a choice or setting has been saved, you will hear a confirmation tone

and the screen wll return to the

Settings menu.
