If the answerng system s on, you can lsten to a caller leavng a message on the answerng system.

Call intercept

When a caller s leavng a message on the answerng system, you can ntercept the call by pressng

HOME/FLASH or on the handset, or HOME on the telephone base.

Recording a memo

Memos are messages you record at the telephone base, typcally as remnders for yourself or others

who use ths answerng system. They are saved, played back and deleted exactly lke other answerng

system messages.
To record a memo on the telephone base:
1. Press the

MENU softkey when the telephone base s n dle mode.

2. Press the

UP and DOWN NavKeys to hghlght Answering System, then press the SELECT

softkey to enter the

Answering System menu.

3. Press the

UP and DOWN NavKeys to hghlght Record Memo, then press the SELECT softkey.

4. Record your memo after the tone. It can be up to four mnutes n length.
5. Press the

STOP softkey when finished recording and it will then return to the idle mode.
