Cleaning for lower tray jams: paper-pick rollers

If you are experiencing media-feeding problems, including mispicks and
multiple picks of paper from the Lower Paper Tray Assembly, you can
generally correct the problem by cleaning the media-pick rollers with
isopropyl alcohol. Refer to “Using isopropyl alcohol” on page 5-12 for more
information.
1. Remove the lower paper tray from the Lower Paper Tray
Assembly.
2. Locate the media-pick rollers according to the following
illustration.
3. Using an alcohol-soaked cloth, scrub both pick rollers
thoroughly
.
4. Replace the lower paper tray in the Lower Paper Tray Assembly.
