Playing Back Songs
When playing back a commercially available CD or audio file, you can
minimize the sounds that are located in the center (such as vocals).

Press the [Function] (Exit) button so the indicator is lit.

Press the [Song] (Select -) button or [ ] (Select +) button to
display the CD/AUDIO screen.

Press the [Song] (Select -) button or [ ] (Select +) button to get
the value for “Center Cancel” to flash.

Press the [ ] (Value -) or [ ] (Value +) button to switch
Center Cancel on or off.
* Center Cancel is cancelled (switched off) when you switch to a different song.

Press the [Function] (Exit) button so the indicator goes out.

Press the [ ] button to stop the song.
Minimizing the Center Sounds in the Playback
(Center Cancel)
Value Description
On The sounds of the melody and vocals are minimized.
Off Center Cancel is disabled.
NOTE
You may find that using
Center Cancel reduces the
tone quality of some songs.
NOTE
Depending on the song, the
applied effect may be
difficult to discern.
