8.21 SSL/TLS (Administrator mode)
The SSL/TLS settings can be specified. When SSL/TLS is enabled, the com-
munication between the machine and the client PC is encrypted to prevent
information, such as passwords, from being leaked.
Certificates can be created and deleted, and the SSL/TLS status can be
specified.
If “Create a Self-Signed Certificate” is clicked, settings can be specified for
the following.
Specify settings for the following in order to specify the SSL/TLS settings.
Item Description
Common Name The machine’s IP address is displayed. When DHCP is enabled, the host
name is displayed.
Organization Enter the organization name or group name. (Up to 63 ASCII characters)

Unit Enter the department name. (Up to 63 ASCII characters)
Locality Enter the locality name. (Up to 127 ASCII characters)
State/Province Enter the state or province name. (Up to 127 ASCII characters)
Country Type in the two-character country code defined by ISO03166.2.
