Truncating Messages
Long messages can be truncated to save download time and
storage space on your phone. The default setting is 4000
characters. Truncation is separate form the filters option.
Truncating Messages
1. Tap the “Truncate” button in the HotSync Options dialog
box.
2. The Truncate Options screen is displayed. Tap the desired
setting in the list of characters.
3. Tap “OK” to exit.
Mail Menus
There are menu commands that are specific to the Mail
application.
They are:
ᮣ Message Menu
ᮣ Options Menu
Each menu item contains items that configure or adjust how
the Mail application is used.
Message Menu
The following options are available in the Message menu:
ᮣ New - Creates a new message.
ᮣ Save Draft - Saves a message as a draft, and places it in
the Drafts folder.
ᮣ File - Moves the current message into the “Filed” folder.
ᮣ Purge Deleted - Remove all messages permanently form
the Deleted folder.
