8-program Editing Memory
(1 program x 8 scenes)
By using the Random Assemble Editing function, you can select
up to 8 scenes from a previously recorded program on the HDD
deck and automatically dub them onto a VHS cassette.
Random Assemble Editing is possible only when dubbing from
the HDD deck to the VHS deck.

TURN ON THE UNIT

Press POWER.
SELECT HDD DECK

Press HDD.
ACCESS HDD NAVIGATION

Press NAVI. The HDD Navigation screen appears.
ACCESS EDIT SCREEN

Press @# (or 23) to move the arrow to “EDITING”,
then press fi (or ∞) or OK.
SELECT PROGRAM

Press @# (or 23) to move the arrow to one program
you want to edit, then press fi (or ∞) or OK.
ACCESS R.A. EDIT SCREEN

Press OK at the “R.A. EDIT”. The R.A.Edit screen
appears.
START PROGRAM

Press PLAY to start playback. The playback pictures
appear in the window of the R.A.Edit screen. The first
edit-in time starts counting with the arrow to “IN/OUT”.
• You can search the scene by using the following
buttons: PLAY, PAUSE, FF, REW.

1) Find the point where
you want the edited
scene to begin, then
press OK with the
arrow to “IN/OUT”.
The edit-in time is
fixed and the edit-out
time starts counting.
2) Find the point where
you want the edited
scene to end, then press OK with the arrow to “IN/
OUT”. The edit-out time is fixed and the next edit-
out time starts counting. You can repeat this up to 8
times.
