Resets the network adapter and leaves it in a state
safe for another driver to initialize.
Changes the network interface from the stopped state
to the started state.

Allows the statistics on the network interface to be
reset and/or collected.
Changes the network interface from the started state
to the stopped state.
Places a packet in the transmit queue of the network
interface.
Retrieves the current state of a pointer device.
