Note: The dot1x reauthentication timer is controlled by the value assigned to
the IETF Session-Timeout (27) attribute. If set to 60, for example, the CTA
pop-up screen will appear on the client workstation every 60 seconds. There
will be some fine tuning required to find an appropriate value here. Entering
the command
show dot1x interface fa1/0/x detail shows that the
reauthentication timers are
from auth server —
in other words, this field is from
the ACS.
