(18) Ribbon shift unit (color kit) replacement
Removal
1.
Open the front cover, remove the ribbon cartridge, and remove the print head (Section 4.9.1(14)).
2.
Release the hook at the right side of the ribbon shift unit to raise the top of the unit.

Installation
Install the ribbon shift unit in reverse order of removal.
Snap down the unit into place.

Release the other hook at the front side of the ribbon shift unit and pull up the entire unit to remove it from
the carriage unit.
