(8) Control board (ROM board) replacement
From the point of the engineers, the control board is referred to by different names: printer control board, main
board, ROM board, and main board with ROM (EPROM & mask ROM) .
Removal
1.
Remove the printing mechanism (Section 4.9.1 (5)).
2.
Remove the power supply (Section 4.9.1 (6)).
3.
Remove the RS-423 board (Section 4.9.1 (7).
4.
Remove the seven screws as shown below, then remove the control board (ROM board).
