Hyper-V Environment Setup Command (stxvhyperv)
This command sets the environment of the VSSHP Hyper-V.
Execute this command on a production server in which a Hyper-V transportable copy is to be
performed.

Description
No.
The serial number is displayed.
This number is used with the "add" subcommand and the "delete" subcommand.
DiskNo.
The physical disk number is displayed.
The disk number is blank if the disk has been registered in the target disk pool
management file but is not connected to the server.
SDV
When the target disk is a SDV, "SDV" is displayed.
The SDV is blank if the target disk is a disk other than SDV.
Size(KB)
The disk capacity is displayed in KB.
MountPoint/DriveLetter
The mount point and drive letter are displayed.
The mount point and drive letter are displayed when the "add" subcommand or "list"
subcommand is executed.
If multiple mount points or drive letters are allocated to one disk, one of them is
displayed.
OLU
The OLU number is displayed.
The OLU number is displayed by a 4-digit hexadecimal number. "0x" is added as a
prefix to the number.
When the OLU number is 1, "0x0001" is displayed.
The OLU is displayed when the "delete" subcommand or "list detail" subcommand is
executed.
BoxID
The Box ID of the ETERNUS Disk storage system is displayed.
The Box ID is displayed when the "delete" subcommand or "list detail" subcommand
is executed.

Option
Description
-s
Sets the Hyper-V environment.
Creates the following file:
"Installation folder"\etc\vss\vsshp_hyper-v.ini
-d
Deletes the Hyper-V environment.

Displays the Hyper-V environment.

VSSHP has been set as a Hyper-V transportable copy.

When the settings of the environment are deleted
VSSHP is not set as a Hyper-V transportable copy.
